I build wooden surfboards though a method
that uses the natural flexibility of wood.

The rail is layered horizontally
to the surface of the bottom of the board.

I believe it will flex more freely by layering wood fibres,
and grain in the rail, bottom and deck in the same direction.
My method of building provides surfboards
with structural strength due to the thickness of the wood I use,

And therefore, no fibreglass is required.
In order to increase the surface hardness of the board,
a low-viscosity epoxy resin is infused inside
from the surface layer through xylem vessels in the wood.
After that, Varnish is applied to the outside surface
for protection of the wood and epoxy resin is used
to filter ultraviolet rays.
